• It is to observe cross section microstructure and shapes of the various materials such as metal, alloy, functionality powder material, ceramics and etc because of its deep focusing depth and high magnification ratio. 

• Not only is it able to analyze images of the surface/microstructure, but also the components in them by installing EDS.
